La Banderita Organic Yellow Corn Tortillas

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

La Banderita Organic Yellow Corn Tortillas scores 56/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

La Banderita Organic Yellow Corn Tortillas lists 10 ingredients, starting with Water, Whole Grain Corn, Glycerin, Propionic Acid and Sorbic Acid. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 56/100 La Banderita Organic Yellow Corn Tortillas lands mid-scale — below the typical score in tortillas & wraps, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in tortillas & wraps is El Milagro Corn Tortillas at 99/100.
