Great Value Chocolate Chip Granola plastic bag

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 2 ingredients to avoid

Great Value Chocolate Chip Granola plastic bag scores 24/100 on Tallow — our avoid band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Great Value Chocolate Chip Granola plastic bag lists 9 ingredients, starting with Whole Grain Rolled Oats, Cane Sugar, Canola Oil, Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips and Rice Flour. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 24/100 Great Value Chocolate Chip Granola plastic bag scores worse than most granola & muesli we have scored. A higher-scoring option in granola & muesli is purely elizabeth. Organic Grain-Free Vanilla Almond Butter Granola at 100/100.
