Organic Roasted Red Pepper Hommus

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

Cedar's Organic Roasted Red Pepper Hommus scores 75/100 on Tallow — our clean band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Cedar's Organic Roasted Red Pepper Hommus lists 15 ingredients, starting with Organic Steamed Chickpeas, Organic Chickpeas, Water, Organic Roasted Red Peppers and Blend of Oils. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 75/100 Cedar's Organic Roasted Red Pepper Hommus sits in our top band, among the better dips & salsas we have scored. A higher-scoring option in dips & salsas is Kirkland Signature Organic Roasted Pine Nut Hummus at 97/100.
