Organic Teeny Tiny Gummy Bears

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 2 ingredients to avoid

Trader Joe's Organic Teeny Tiny Gummy Bears scores 55/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Trader Joe's Organic Teeny Tiny Gummy Bears lists 14 ingredients, starting with Organic Rice Syrup, Organic Cane Sugar, Water, Bovine Gelatin and Organic Corn Starch. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 55/100 Trader Joe's Organic Teeny Tiny Gummy Bears lands mid-scale — below the typical score in gummies & chewy candy, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in gummies & chewy candy is Blue Stripes Superfruit Gummies Mango Pineapple at 100/100.
