The Fresh Market Sea Salt Popcorn

Breakdown

Processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

The Fresh Market Sea Salt Popcorn scores 49/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

The Fresh Market Sea Salt Popcorn lists 3 ingredients, starting with Popcorn, Sunflower and/Or Canola and/Or Corn Oil and Sea Salt. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 49/100 The Fresh Market Sea Salt Popcorn lands mid-scale — below the typical score in popcorn, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in popcorn is Lesser Evil Organic Popcorn Himalayan Pink Salt at 100/100.
