Organic Chicken Bone Broth with Sea Salt

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 2 ingredients to avoid

Simple Truth Organic Chicken Bone Broth with Sea Salt scores 65/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Simple Truth Organic Chicken Bone Broth with Sea Salt lists 10 ingredients, starting with Organic Chicken Broth, Organic Chicken Flavor, Organic Onion Powder, Sea Salt and Organic Cane Sugar. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 65/100 Simple Truth Organic Chicken Bone Broth with Sea Salt lands mid-scale — below the typical score in soups & broths, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in soups & broths is Pacific Foods Organic Unsalted Chicken Bone Broth, 3 x 32 oz at 98/100.
