What the score means in dishwasher detergent
How is the score calculated?
Every product starts at 100 and loses points for the ingredients, processing and packaging actually on its label — up to 40 points for a single worst-tier ingredient, 10 for NOVA 4 ultra-processing, 8 for the riskiest food-contact packaging. Certified organic is the only bonus. Read the full methodology.
What counts as a good score?
70 and up is Clean, 41–69 is Okay, 40 and under is Avoid. The colour on every tile above is that band, so a page of green is a shelf worth shopping.
