Breakdown

4 ingredients to avoid

U By Kotex Click Compact Tampons Super Plus Unscented scores 43/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

U By Kotex Click Compact Tampons Super Plus Unscented lists 7 ingredients, starting with Rayon, Polyester, Polyethylene, Polypropylene and Cellulose. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 43/100 U By Kotex Click Compact Tampons Super Plus Unscented lands mid-scale — below the typical score in feminine care, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in feminine care is Tampon Tribe Organic Regular Day Pads at 100/100.
