BEEF JERKY

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

TILLAMOOK COUNTRY SMOKER PRO EDITION BEEF JERKY scores 67/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

TILLAMOOK COUNTRY SMOKER PRO EDITION BEEF JERKY lists 10 ingredients, starting with Beef, Beef Broth, Apple Cider Vinegar, Granulated Garlic and Gluten-free Soy Sauce. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 67/100 TILLAMOOK COUNTRY SMOKER PRO EDITION BEEF JERKY lands mid-scale — below the typical score in jerky & meat snacks, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in jerky & meat snacks is Brooklyn Biltong Naked Classic Tender Steak Slices at 95/100.
