Organic Mayonnaise With Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Breakdown

Processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

Spectrum Naturals Organic Mayonnaise With Extra Virgin Olive Oil scores 40/100 on Tallow — our avoid band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Spectrum Naturals Organic Mayonnaise With Extra Virgin Olive Oil lists 13 ingredients, starting with Vegetable Oil (Expeller Pressed Soybean Oil and/Or Expeller Pressed Canola Oil), Organic Whole Eggs, Organic Egg Yolks, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Filtered Water. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 40/100 Spectrum Naturals Organic Mayonnaise With Extra Virgin Olive Oil scores worse than most mayonnaise we have scored. A higher-scoring option in mayonnaise is Sir Kensington's Organic Mayonnaise at 100/100.
