Sour Blast Buddies Candy

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

SmartSweets Sour Blast Buddies Candy scores 62/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

SmartSweets Sour Blast Buddies Candy lists 14 ingredients, starting with Prebiotic Soluble Tapioca Fiber, Lactic Acid, Pectin, Chicory Root Fiber and Rice Flour. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 62/100 SmartSweets Sour Blast Buddies Candy lands mid-scale — below the typical score in gummies & chewy candy, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in gummies & chewy candy is Blue Stripes Superfruit Gummies Mango Pineapple at 100/100.
