Simple Green Multipurpose Cleaning Towels

Breakdown

4 ingredients to avoid

Simple Green Multipurpose Cleaning Towels scores 15/100 on Tallow — our avoid band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Simple Green Multipurpose Cleaning Towels lists 9 ingredients, starting with Water (Cas 7732-18-5), Alcohols, C9-c11, Ethoxylated (Cas 68439-46-3), Surfactant Proprietary Mixture, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate and Leavening (Sodium Bicarbonate). Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 15/100 Simple Green Multipurpose Cleaning Towels scores worse than most all-purpose cleaner we have scored. A higher-scoring option in all-purpose cleaner is Dealworthy Multi-Purpose Cleaning Vinegar Unscented at 97/100.
