Bond Repair Shampoo

4 ingredients to avoid

SheaMoisture Bond Repair Shampoo scores 15/100 on Tallow — our avoid band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

SheaMoisture Bond Repair Shampoo lists 14 ingredients, starting with Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Emblica Officinalis Fruit Extract, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, Serine and Arginine. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 15/100 SheaMoisture Bond Repair Shampoo scores worse than most shampoo we have scored. A higher-scoring option in shampoo is J.R. Liggett's Old-Fashioned Bar Shampoo Tea Tree and Hemp Oil Formula at 100/100.
