Protein Brownie Strawberry Shortcake

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 10 ingredients to avoid

Prime Bites Protein Brownie Strawberry Shortcake scores 0/100 on Tallow — our avoid band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. Per serving it carries 2g fiber, 19g protein and 4g sugar. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Prime Bites Protein Brownie Strawberry Shortcake lists 27 ingredients, starting with Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Isolate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Almond Flour and Vegetable Margarine. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

230 kcal per serving, or 354 kcal per 100g. Calories are only part of the picture — Tallow scores Prime Bites Protein Brownie Strawberry Shortcake on what the ingredients are, not how many calories they carry.

At 0/100 Prime Bites Protein Brownie Strawberry Shortcake scores worse than most protein & snack bars we have scored. A higher-scoring option in protein & snack bars is LÄRABAR Blueberry Muffin Bars at 99/100.
