Watermelon Syrup

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 3 ingredients to avoid

Monin Watermelon Syrup scores 49/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Monin Watermelon Syrup lists 9 ingredients, starting with Sugar, Water, Natural Watermelon Flavouring, Other Natural Flavourings and Concentrated Lemon Juice. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 49/100 Monin Watermelon Syrup lands mid-scale — below the typical score in drink mixes & powders, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in drink mixes & powders is Matcha & Co Organic Golden Milk at 100/100.
