Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade carton

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 2 ingredients to avoid

Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade carton scores 15/100 on Tallow — our avoid band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade carton lists 9 ingredients, starting with Pure Filtered Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Lemon Juice From Concentrate, Of: Strawberry Juice From Concentrate and Sucralose. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 15/100 Minute Maid Strawberry Lemonade carton scores worse than most juices we have scored. A higher-scoring option in juices is Trader Joe's Organic 100% Sicilian Lemon Juice at 100/100.
