Lysol® Pet Odor Eliminator Spray

Breakdown

1 ingredient to avoid

Lysol® Pet Odor Eliminator Spray scores 60/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Lysol® Pet Odor Eliminator Spray lists 3 ingredients, starting with Water, Ethanol and Alkyl (50% C14, 40% C12, 10% C16) Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Saccharinate. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 60/100 Lysol® Pet Odor Eliminator Spray lands mid-scale — below the typical score in sprays & aerosols, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in sprays & aerosols is Puressentiel Purifying Air Spray at 100/100.
