Litehouse Organic Caesar glass bottle

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 2 ingredients to avoid

Litehouse Organic Caesar glass bottle scores 60/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Litehouse Organic Caesar glass bottle lists 14 ingredients, starting with Water, Organic Soybean Oil, Organic Distilled Vinegar, Organic Parmesan Cheese and Organic Egg Yolk. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 60/100 Litehouse Organic Caesar glass bottle lands mid-scale — below the typical score in salad dressings, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in salad dressings is Bragg Organic Vinaigrette Dressing & Marinade, 12 fl oz at 92/100.
