Lily's Peanut Butter Lite

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

Lily's Peanut Butter Lite scores 43/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Lily's Peanut Butter Lite lists 4 ingredients, starting with Roasted Peanuts, Stevia Rebaudiana Extract Powder, Hydrogenated Palm Oil and Iodized Salt. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 43/100 Lily's Peanut Butter Lite lands mid-scale — below the typical score in nut & seed butters, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in nut & seed butters is Good & Gather Organic Stir Crunchy Peanut Butter at 100/100.
