Hardbite Lightly Salted Beet Chips

Breakdown

Processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

Hardbite Lightly Salted Beet Chips scores 49/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Hardbite Lightly Salted Beet Chips lists 3 ingredients, starting with Beets, Non-hydrogenated Sunflower Oil and/Or Non-hydrogenated Canola Oil and Sea Salt. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 49/100 Hardbite Lightly Salted Beet Chips lands mid-scale — below the typical score in chips & crisps, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in chips & crisps is Kartago Date Squares at 100/100.
