Sweet Potato Carrot Beef & Tomato

Breakdown

Processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

Gerber Sweet Potato Carrot Beef & Tomato scores 55/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Gerber Sweet Potato Carrot Beef & Tomato lists 7 ingredients, starting with Water, Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, Ground Beef and Oat Flour. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 55/100 Gerber Sweet Potato Carrot Beef & Tomato lands mid-scale — below the typical score in baby food & purees, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in baby food & purees is Beech-Nut Organics Just Apples, Stage 1 at 100/100.
