Equate Smooth Mint Fresh Breath Alcohol-Free Oral Rinse

Breakdown

3 ingredients to avoid

Equate Smooth Mint Fresh Breath Alcohol-Free Oral Rinse scores 59/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Equate Smooth Mint Fresh Breath Alcohol-Free Oral Rinse lists 8 ingredients, starting with Purified Water, Glycerin, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Flavor and Sodium Benzoate. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 59/100 Equate Smooth Mint Fresh Breath Alcohol-Free Oral Rinse lands mid-scale — below the typical score in mouthwash, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in mouthwash is GuruNanda Sesame Mint Oil Pulling Mouthwash at 100/100.
