Earth's Own Organic Almond Base

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 1 ingredient to avoid

Earth's Own Organic Almond Base scores 61/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Earth's Own Organic Almond Base lists 12 ingredients, starting with Filtered Water, Organic Whole Almonds, Sea Salt, Organic Locust Bean Gum and Gellan Gum. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 61/100 Earth's Own Organic Almond Base lands mid-scale — below the typical score in dairy-alternative milks, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in dairy-alternative milks is Califia Farms Organic Unsweetened Coconut Milk at 100/100.
