Free & Gentle Purifying Rinse Laundry Odor Remover

Breakdown

2 ingredients to avoid

Downy Free & Gentle Purifying Rinse Laundry Odor Remover scores 66/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Downy Free & Gentle Purifying Rinse Laundry Odor Remover lists 6 ingredients, starting with Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Propylene Glycol, C12-16 Pareth and Sodium Cumenesulfonate. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 66/100 Downy Free & Gentle Purifying Rinse Laundry Odor Remover lands mid-scale — below the typical score in fabric softener, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in fabric softener is Kirkland Signature Kirkland Signature Free Run at 100/100.
