Beef-XO Clear Beef Protein

Breakdown

Ultra-processed · 2 ingredients to avoid

Applied Nutrition Beef-XO Clear Beef Protein scores 67/100 on Tallow — our okay band. That number comes from what is on the label: the ingredients, how processed it is, and what it is packaged in. It is not a verdict on your diet — Tallow does not weigh calories, portion size or how often you eat it, so a high score means the ingredients are clean, not that the food is unlimited.

Applied Nutrition Beef-XO Clear Beef Protein lists 7 ingredients, starting with Beef Protein Isolate, Turmeric, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum and Beetroot Red. Ingredients are listed in descending order by weight, so the first few make up most of what you are eating.

At 67/100 Applied Nutrition Beef-XO Clear Beef Protein lands mid-scale — below the typical score in protein powders, but clear of the bottom band. A higher-scoring option in protein powders is VEGA Pea Protein Powder Chocolate at 100/100.
