Zaxby's fries its menu in a blend of highly refined soybean oil, stated in its own November 2025 nutrition and allergen guide. It publishes no per-item ingredient statements, so additives and how premade the food is could not be scored.

Zaxby's own Nutrition and Allergen Guide, revised November 2025, says it plainly: "Zaxbys menu items are fried in a blend of highly refined soybean oil." That is the fryer, and at a chicken finger chain the fryer is most of the menu - the fingers, wings, fries and fried sides all come out of it. The guide offers no oil swap anywhere. That same guide is nutrition and allergens only, so I could not score additives or how premade the food is: Zaxby's publishes no per-item ingredient statements and says its ingredient information comes from its vendors. Those categories are left unrated rather than guessed.
