TCBY's plain frozen yogurt has no oil in it at all, and only 7 of the 45 items with published statements carry a seed oil, all of it coming from cookie pieces, candy or nut coatings. The weak spot is additives rather than oil, with propylene glycol monoesters in 30 of 45 items and synthetic dyes across nine flavours.
TCBY publishes a real ingredient statement on each menu-item page, and the plain frozen yogurt is genuinely clean on oil: Golden Vanilla, the flagship, is cultured milk, sugar, skim milk, corn syrup, polydextrose, a stabiliser blend and vanilla, with no oil at all. Only 7 of the 45 items with statements carry a seed oil, and every one of them gets it from a baked or candy inclusion or a nut coating rather than the yogurt. There is no fryer. The additive side is the opposite story: propylene glycol monoesters are in 30 of 45 as the standard stabiliser, guar gum in 40, carrageenan in 32, and synthetic dyes across 9 flavours. Two ingredients that should not still be there are: partially hydrogenated oil on three items and brominated vegetable oil in the Pink Lemonade sorbet.
