Jersey Mike's slices the meat to order and bakes bread in store, and the roast beef is literally "100% Beef, Salt" - but the bread undoes it. The cured meats carry the additive load: phosphates in 50 items, nitrite or nitrate in 26, sorbic acid in 28, BHA or BHT in 8. The fries are cottonseed and canola oil with TBHQ. The real workaround is their own menu - a "sub in a tub" bowl drops the bread, and the Juice is just a topping you can decline.
