Some dishes use seed oils · Some artificial additives
While In-N-Out made massive strides recently by swapping synthetic dyes like Red 40 and Yellow 5 for natural alternatives such as vegetable juice and turmeric, and replacing high-fructose corn syrup with real sugar, their menu still relies on processed seed oils. The 100% beef patties are cooked cleanly on a flat-top grill without added fats, but the french fries are fried in sunflower oil and the famous secret spread is built on a soybean oil base. To get a completely clean meal, you have to order a "Protein Style" burger with mustard instead of the spread and skip the fries entirely. Still some bad additives too
