Cafe Rio's own allergen brochure carries a footnote that marks which items contain highly-refined soybean oil, and 13 of 44 items are flagged, including all five tortillas, the chips and both shrimp dishes. They publish no ingredient statements at all, so additives could not be assessed and the fryer oil is never named.
Rated 2026-08-28 on seed_oil and nova only. Additives is deliberately left NULL because Cafe Rio publishes no ingredient statements anywhere and guessing would be inventing. Source: their own Nutritional & Allergen brochure at https://assets.trinitip.caferio-core.com/5fc18ec8aa3c03000910c905/635fd8e1f2751f0008cf4c0b/NutritionWebUpdate8.5x11printable.pdf (6,648,569 bytes, 1 page), found through the __NEXT_DATA__ blob on the 2,675-byte /nutrition shell - the URL is not linked anywhere else. The brochure carries a real footnote, verbatim: "Indicates foods where the only soy-derived ingredient is highly-refined soybean oil which is excluded as a major food allergen." A bullet in the SOY column is therefore a chain-published soybean-oil declaration. 13 of 44 items carry it. 19 more carry a plain X in SOY, meaning soy is present but the oil is not proven; those were excluded. Both chain keys refer to the same chain.
