Bruster's publishes a separate ingredient PDF for every flavour, and across the 199 that could be read, 197 carry at least one additive - gums in 190, a benzoate or sorbate in 191, corn syrup in 180, carrageenan and mono- and diglycerides in 173 each, and polysorbate 80 in 159, which is unusually high for this category. 85 of the 199 also name a seed oil, mostly soybean. Only two flavours in the whole range came back clean on both counts.
